Department of Information Technology welcomes new faculty members in the department

Within the policy development and modernization followed by the Information Technology Department, and within the policy of supplying department a set of distinctive competencies, a number of academics who hold degrees PhD and Masters have joined the faculty in the Department of Information Technology, where joined to the department Dr. Mohammed Mustafa, Dr. Saim Rasheed, and a lecturer Mohammad Aslam . The following is a brief outline of each of them:

 

Dr. Saim Rasheed

 

He holds a Doctorate degree in Computer Science from the University of Milan in Italy. He participated in several research projects including: 

Computing Perceptual and Developing alternative approaches to CIE Color Rendering Index (CRI) , Computing Perceptual Contrast Measure in Color Digital Images and Classification of Electroencephalograph (EEG) Signals using Support Vector Machines.

Dr. Muhammad Mostafa Monowar

  

He holds a Doctorate degree in Computer Engineering from Kyung Hee University, Yongin, Gyeonggi, South Korea. The researches area of ​​interest are: Wireless networks, especially ad hoc, sensor and mesh networks, including routing protocols, MAC mechanisms, IP and transport layer issues, and cross-layer design and QoS provisioning.

 

 Lecturer : Mohamed Asslam Madthilakath 

He has MSc in Computer Technology & MBA in Systems/IT. He is an Oracle Certified Professional(OCP) in Database Administration.
